SCOUT GROUP

LEADERS

Scouting in the United Kingdom is organised in Scout Groups, Scout Districts, Scout Counties and Country Headquarters.

Adults 18yrs and over can be accepted into the scout movement as a full member or associate member subject to CRB check, group and district approval.

A warrant is issued after 3 modules have successfully been completed, you are then on your way to becoming a fully qualified leader receiving your Wood badge.

Becoming a leader is a great way to put something back into the community. It is highly rewarding to help develop young people and will probably develop skills that you never knew you had! Being a Leader starts with a commitment of about an hour a week.

If you would like to know more about becoming a section assistant or joining our executive committee helping in the running of the scout group please contact the Group Scout Leader for more information.
